Big Bang’s Seungri recently shot his first TV series.
In the December 26 episode of MBC’s Monday-Tuesday series, Light and Shadow, Seungri will play the role of Ahn Jae Soo, who wants to become a singer.
Seungri shot the series on December 24 in Hapcheon, South Geongsang Province. It was a frigid day with temperatures dipping down to minus 8, while strong winds pushed the windchill factor further down to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
Seungri, however, showed off his talented acting skills and surprised the entire crew.
He spoke in a fluent Jeolla province accent and acted dissimulating for the series.
He said, “I’m honored to appear on the series, which I have been watching a lot. I shot a TV series for the first time and I realized that many people are working hard to make the series in cold weather.”
In the December 26 episode of the series, Ki Tae (played by Ahn Jae Wook) will form a love triangle with Jae Young (played by Son Dam Bi) and Jung Hye (played by Nam Sang Mi). And Sang Taek (played by Ahn Gil Gang) will be released from a house of detention with Chul Hwan (played by Jeon Kwang Ryeol)’s help.
